Place never disappoints, very consistent, etc. It's really good. They're really nice too. The chef that's taking your order can speak english so there's no need to worry about the communication barrier. It gets really cold at night but once you're near the grill you'll be warm. Once you get your food just dash into your car and you're fine. Honestly a w place.

So worth it for the price! $2 per taco and they have quite the selection. Keep in mind that these are real "street tacos." They set up everyday at 6:30PM. Wish they had better hours but it's all good. Most people take their order to go because there isn't really a place to sit besides a mini fold up table with 4-5 chairs. TACOS - Buche 5/5 - Lengua 5/5 - Asada 4/5 **I definitely planning on coming back to try the tripas, sudero, & cabeza. Tacos were relatively small so I was able to put down 5. They self-service bar area has: - Cucumbers - Pickled red onions, jalapeños, & habaneros. (This was fire!) - Pickled jalepenos/carrots - Limes - Salsa: Avocado, Green tomatillo, & red. My only complaint was that the salsas were a little bland. They accept both cash & Zelle.

*** Accepts Zelle *** One day on my way home, I noticed a long line at a small taco stand near the intersection of Bolsa & Magnolia in Westminster. After seeing positive Yelp reviews, I bookmarked this spot and finally had a chance later to see why it always draws a crowd. [Parking]: The taco stand is located next to Bank of America. Since most businesses in the lot are closed at night, parking was pretty easy. [Hours]: According to their Instagram page (@tacos_elmay), the stand is closed on Mondays and open from 6:30 PM - 11 PM Tuesday through Sunday. [Atmosphere & ordering]: Expect a long line, but it moves fairly quickly. The stand typically plays lively music in the background. After placing your order with the cook, you can customize your tacos with grilled onions, raw red onions, cilantro, and salsa right next to the cashier table. [Menu]: Popular meat options include al pastor, tripas, and asada. They have a banner listing all available meats so there's no guesswork. Each taco is $2 and $3 with cheese. Small horchata is $3 and $5 for large. Burrito with one meat is $10 and $12 for mixed. Other options include mulitas, quesadillas, nachos, and tortas. *** Asada and Al pastor tacos ($2 each): Al pastor taco didn't come with a slice of pineapple and it was not as good as Al pastor taco from Angel's Tijuana Tacos from Echo Park or Leo's Tacos Truck in Mid-City in Central Los Angeles. Both asada and al pastor tacos tasted slightly dry and double layer tortilla, but overall they still tasted pretty satisfying. Red chili sauce was really spicy but super flavorful. The al pastor taco didn't include a pineapple slice and it was not as good as the al pastor tacos from Angel's Tijuana Tacos (Echo Park) or Leo's Tacos Truck (Mid-City in Los Angeles). Both the asada and al pastor tacos were slightly dry and came in double-layered tortillas, but they were still fairly satisfying for a $2 street taco. The red chili sauce was super spicy, but it was very flavorful. *** While I do not think this is the best al pastor taco spot in Los Angeles or Orange County, there aren't many late-night taco options near Little Saigon. Overall it is a solid choice for a quick fix when you are craving a late-night bite.

SOOOOO SO GOOD! The best tacos I've ever had in my life!! Went here when I wasn't even hungry and tried the tripas and al pastor.... you put your own sauces and toppings on BUT WOW!!! So much meat and so so good!!! We contemplated to get more and so we did! I'm so sad I didn't see this place sooner during my stay in California. Definitely will be back when I'm in Cali! Only $2 per taco!!! Can't beat that! Friendly service. Easy to find parking.

If there was a definition for hidden gem, it would be Tacos El May. I took a group of my friends on a Friday night around 10pm, and they had a pretty large line but it was moving super quick. They had an efficient system going and everything was ready super fast! Food (5/5): We got the Al pastor tacos and mulitas and both were incredibly flavorful and packed with meat. These are the most bang for your buck since tacos are only $2 and mulitas were only $3! I think Al pastor was their most popular meat. After you order you can customize your tacos with onions, veggies, and salsa. The worker behind the table will help you make a Togo bag if you're not enjoying them there! Service (5/5): Super friendly and fast. They spoke both English and Spanish and even had Vietnamese translations on their menu. They only take cash or Zelle. Ambiance (4/5): It's your classic side of the road tacos next to a bank parking lot. They have one table with 5 or so chairs and string lights. We still thoroughly enjoyed our tacos while standing and I wouldn't have wanted anything else!

-Located between bolsa and magnolia -Next to the Bank of America Tacos were only $2 each! Super affordable! We arrived right when they open at 630pm and there was already a line formed. We were 4th in line and waited about 10-15 mins. This was due to the workers setting up and cooking up all that protein! We tried the carne asada, al pastor, cabeza and tripa! The carne asada tasted like your standard asada. The Al pastor was a little dry but with the avocado sauce and hot sauce added, it made up for it. Our favorite was the cabeza and the tripa! we weren't going to order it at first but saw others ordered it so we gave it a try. I'm so glad we did because It Literally melted in our mouth.

I've lost track of how many times I've been here but it hits every time!!! My only complaint is it seems like they have less habaneros in their pickled red onion mix... probably because it was too spicy for some of the customers. Otherwise, service is still quick and efficient! They have a system down to get the customers their food fast!

Solid taco stand with an amazing $1 taco Tuesday deal! I love the Vietnamese translation for the meats (we're in the ABC supermarket plaza). The line most pretty quickly but it seemed like everyone and their mother (my mom included) was there on this Tuesday night. I don't blame them though- this is the best taco Tuesday deal I've seen in my area. Since it was so busy. They have meats on hand to make tacos and are constantly grilling more meats. I ordered enough al pastor, asada, and lengua tacos for my 7 person group. Everyone loved the asada and lengua but the al pastor was a bit dry. It's okay though since there was plenty of sauces add. Shoutout to their staff for their salsa bar-plentiful and well stocked. Be careful of the one with the orange chili tho- that was dangerously spicy (I eat spicy I promise). The cheese quesadilla was loaded with quality cheese- I might ask for some in my tacos next time haha Note: lots of parking but there's only one table(that I luckily got) but it's a vibe with everyone eating at on top of their car trunk

I have found my new taco spot! The tacos were $2 each, which surprisingly is difficult to find in this economy, and the workers were so nice and generous with their meat servings! I tried their carne asada, al pastor, and lengua--all were well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. We also got a mixed burrito, which was hefty as well. I liked that we could pile on condiments ourselves before they wrapped it up. The red, green, and avocado sauces were all very good--that is also the order of decreasing spice level. This taco stand is located in the ABC supermarket plaza on Bolsa and Magnolia, which I pass by often, so I am surprised that I have not discovered it until now. Because it is located in a plaza, there are plenty of parking spaces available. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
